Professional Software Engineer with a PhD in Robotics, specialising in manipulators, planning, perception, localisation, mapping, and optimisation. Gibson has over 8 years of experience as Lead Senior Software Engineer at the Robotics Institute, University of Technology Sydney, and more than 3 years as a Software Engineer in Silicon Valley.

Gibson has worked on numerous infrastructure-related robotics projects at UTS, covering the full lifecycle from prototyping to deployment. His primary programming skills include C, C++, Python, and Java.

Gibson has a strong interest in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and advancing the field of embodied AI. I actively integrate AI into my workflow to optimise efficiency and deepen my understanding of problems. He is always ready to take on new challenges across both the hardware and software domains of robotics.
