Ringo Thomas is the Co-Founder & Chief Commercial Officer of SPEC Toolbox, a software company looking to eliminate the bottlenecks to the adoption of low embodied carbon materials.

Ringo’s background has been primarily in the software and workforce management sector, he is a massive champion of modern working practices, equal opportunity and building global teams with purpose and kindness to create an environment where people are passionate and solve real problems.

Previous to co-founding SPEC Toolbox, Ringo was the first employee and Head of Sales/Growth for Everest Engineering, a software company that grew from 1 to 250 people during his tenure and worked with some of the most successful software companies in Australia and around the world and grew to over $0 to $50M in total revenue in under 5 years.

Ringo is now excited about joining and contributing to the timber industry, and he is bringing his skills and professional networks from the software sector to help SPEC Toolbox and the broader industries mission of decarbonising construction by making it easier for CLT & Mass Timber to become a mainstream building material.
