DBI Workshop – The Role of Timber Buildings in Decarbonising the Construction Industry

Griffith University, Nathan Campus, is hosting the third in a series of workshops aimed at developing a roadmap to decarbonise the construction industry using timber. The theme of this year’s workshop is The Role of Timber Buildings in Decarbonising the Construction Industry.

Gain insights from leading experts, contribute your ideas, and explore opportunities to initiate or support projects that promote timber as a key sustainable building material.

You will also hear the outcomes of the projects initiated during last year’s workshop and take part in selecting the new projects to be undertaken by the Department of Primary Industries of the Queensland Government as part of their involvement in the DBI network.

This workshop is presented in partnership with the Building Designers Association of Australia (BDAA), and will feature speakers from BDAA, BVN Architecture, The University of Queensland, Frame and Truss Manufacturers Association of Australia (FTMA) and The Queensland Government.
