About

David graduated with a civil engineering degree with honours from Griffith University which included an exchange program with University of Applied Sciences Mittelhessen in Germany.

He has since been working for 12 years with Multinail Engineering department specialising in timber design and the effects of wind pressures on roof trusses and timber connections. He is passionate about the timber industry and believes this is the industry of the future.

His current contributions to the ARC Advance Timber Hub is to investigate innovative long-span timber and wood-based hybrid floors for vibration performance and acoustic compliance & Improving resource availability and utilisation for residential timber manufacturing and construction.
