Professor John Mangan is Node Leader on socio-economic assessment, which will employ macroeconomic models developed as Director of UQ’s Centre of Economic Policy Modelling and Australian Institute for Business and Economics. John formerly held senior research roles in the Queensland government including Director of the Labour Market Research Unit, and served as advisor to the Victorian government on post-covid infrastructure planning.
