Karin Lutz has been working at Schmid Schrauben Hainfeld GmbH, the only manufacturer of timber construction screws in Austria, for more than 24 years. Schmid Schrauben made a significant contribution to the development of the timber construction screw and thus also to structural timber construction in Austria and Germany. This was followed by international markets in Europe, North America and South America.

Karin Lutz is now looking forward to supporting the development of the timber construction industry in Australia together with her colleagues Sebastian Partl and Philip Kubinger.
