About

Parvesh Deepan is a Chartered Structural Engineer with over 8 years of professional experience in structural design, analysis, and advanced computational modelling. He holds an M.Tech in Structural Engineering from IIT Bombay and is professionally recognized as MIEAust (NER), MIE (India), Chartered Engineer (CEng), Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), and a Graduate Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers (UK).

Parvesh is currently pursuing a PhD at Griffith University as part of the ARC Advance Timber Hub, contributing to research on hybrid load-bearing systems aimed at advancing the adoption of timber in modern construction. His research focuses on structural performance evaluation, material innovation, and sustainability-driven design approaches.

Parvesh has extensive experience in structural dynamics, seismic analysis, finite element modelling, and performance-based design, with prior work on high-rise structures, composite systems, and reliability-based engineering. Through his role in the Hub, he contributes to the development and performance assessment of next-generation timber-based structural components.
