About
Roberto Crocetti has worked as a structural engineer since 2002. His main focus has been timber engineering, particularly long-span structures, bridges, connections and hybrid structures. He has also served as adjunct professor of timber bridges at Chalmers University of Technology during 2005-2009 and as full professor of structural engineering at Lund University between 2010 and 2017.
Roberto has thought at graduate level since 2005. He has developed his own courses both at Lund University and at KTH in different disciplines related to Structural Engineering. Currently, he supervises three PhD students who work with different types of timber connections. Parallel to the academic work, Roberto works as a structural engineer in the consulting company TBS, dealing with design of timber structures (mainly timber bridges) and R&D projects
