Supplier Partnerships Lead – Lendlease Podium

About

Tim joined Lendlease in January 2015 and is currently acting as Supplier Partnerships Lead for the Lendlease Podium business unit. His role involves strong interfacing with our supply partners and teams, incorporating in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and efficiency drivers (LEAN and DFMA philosophies, and modern methods of construction).

Tim is a Structural Engineer by background, with a varied career in consulting engineering prior to specialising in mass timber design. His experience in the UK (prior to joining Lendlease) included diverse projects and materials, from steel and concrete, to aluminium and mass timber. Former projects include the British Museum extension (World Conservation and Exhibition Centre) with Rogers Stirk Harbour and partners, The Tate Modern extension with Herzog & de Meuron, and stage set design in aluminium for artists and events such as the Rolling Stones ‘A bigger bang’ tour and the Turin Winter Olympic opening ceremony.

Tim has worked extensively in the mass timber engineering sector for both timber engineering consultancies and material manufacturers. He has an enviable level of experience in designing both complex and simple timber structures across multiple sectors and has well established connections within the global supply chain market. Tim has been involved in all of Lendlease’s timber projects past and present, as well as several award-winning mass timber projects worldwide prior to joining Lendlease.

Tim was an active board member of the ARC Future Timber Hub (2016 to 2021) since 2017.
