About

Tim Schork is the Professor of Architecture in the School of Architecture and Built Environment at QUT. His award-winning interdisciplinary research aims to make a constructive contribution to the UN SDGs and is centred around the development of advanced computational design methods, novel robotic manufacturing processes and innovative low-embodied carbon materials and construction systems that make building more resource-efficient, regenerative and sustainable. As part of node Manufacturing Innovation his contribution to the Research Hub will be in the development of integrated computational design workflows and adaptive robotic manufacturing processes for non-standard timber structures, human-robot collaboration and in-situ autonomous screwfixing robots for CLT panel building assembly.
